germanium eutectic lead free alloy system. SN100C
has been in commercial production of printed
circuit
boards for over 7 years and SN100CL in hot
air levelling for
over 3 years throughout the world and is recognised
as amongst the most successful, technically
proven
lead free solders in use today.
In mass wave-soldering applications SN100C exhibits
fluidity and wetting properties comparable with
that of tin/lead solder it is designed to replace.
Wave-soldering performance easily matches that
of the more expensive tin-copper-silver alloys
available and with lower copper leaching rates
and less agressivity to stainless steel it easily
outperforms these alternative systems on both
cost of ownership and overall performance.

Having
chosen your lead free alloy system it is
important to ensure these alloys are not
mixed with other lead-free solders nor
tin/lead. To assist in easy identification
all DKL branded lead free alloys are engraved, "lead
free", stamped with grade and unique
batch number and packaged in either green
or green and white cartons readily identified
with RoHS compliant lead free artwork.
Each bar can be individually labelled at
additional cost using our "Identibar" labelling
system where required.
