With over 30 years of experience in alloy technology, we are one of the UK’s leading tin-lead alloy and lead-free solder producers. Amongst the first in our industry to gain BS5750 Part 2 accreditation, we manufacture a wide variety of products in accordance with both our approved Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
Our industrial grade blowpipe solder is available in a comprehensive range of high quality, fusible alloys. These ultra-high purity alloys are primarily based on bismuth, tin and lead, as well as the addition of indium, gallium and cadmium where required. Incorporating common alloys melting between 47°C and 183°C, our standard blowpipe solder melts at a relatively low temperature. This characteristic makes these alloys suitable for uses such as:
- General soldering applications including wiping and joining of lead pipes
- Optical lens grinding
- Tube bending
- Radio therapy shielding
Offering a large selection of low melt alloys and blowpipe solder, our in-house laboratory is fully equipped and able to cater to any individual requirements.
