Established in 1986 as an independent high purity solder and alloy manufacturer, we are one of the UK’s foremost suppliers of both tin/lead and lead free solder bar. We uphold a commitment to producing the highest quality solder products for the electronic and industrial industries, proudly maintaining a Quality Management System which was amongst the first in our industry to gain BS5750 Part 2 accreditation.  

Now, we continue to successfully manufacture solder bar in accordance with national and international standards, benefiting from a fully equipped onsite laboratory. We are always striving to improve standards within the lead free solder industry, which is why in 2002 we gained a manufacturing licence with Nihon Superior Co. to produce their SN100C lead free solder bar.  

DKL Metals is the UK’s only licensed manufacturer of SN100C solder bar, one of the most successful and technically proven solders currently in use globally. SN100C is a lead free solder bar comprising of a unique stabilized tin-copper-nickel + germanium configuration. As a well recognised solder bar, SN100C has been used in the electronics industry in lead free wave soldering and commercial production of printed circuit boards for over a decade.  

This eutectic alloy replicates the fluidity of traditional tin/lead solder to allow for a smooth, icicle-free application. SN100C solder bar also offers a low aggressivity and a lower drossing rate compared to other lead free alloys, providing substantial cost savings.
